A heartbreaking case has emerged from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, where a father has accused his wife of murdering their three-year-old son after allegedly overhearing a phone conversation that revealed the circumstances surrounding the child's death.
According to the police complaint, Krishna Murari lived in Chhauli village with his wife, Ruchi, their five-year-old daughter, and their three-year-old son, Madhav.
On the evening of June 28, Krishna Murari reportedly received a distressed phone call from Ruchi, who told him that their son had been asleep for an unusually long time and was not responding despite repeated attempts to wake him. Alarmed, he rushed home and immediately took Madhav to a nearby private hospital. However, doctors declared the child dead.
Believing the death to be a tragic and unforeseen incident, the grieving family performed the child's last rites and tried to come to terms with their loss.
The case took a dramatic turn on July 21 when Krishna Murari allegedly overheard his wife speaking on the phone with another man. According to the complaint, the conversation suggested that Madhav had been crying continuously that day, and in a moment of anger, Ruchi allegedly strangled the child because his crying interrupted the conversation.
Shocked by what he claims to have heard, Krishna Murari approached the Baldev Police Station and lodged an FIR against his wife, accusing her of murdering their son.
Police have registered the case and launched an investigation to verify the allegations and determine the exact circumstances surrounding the child's death. Further action will be taken based on the evidence collected during the investigation.
