Meerut: School Owner's Death Under Investigation, Wife and Alleged Lover Arrested

A sensational murder case has emerged from Hastinapur in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district, where police allege that a school owner was killed as part of a conspiracy involving his wife and her alleged lover.

According to the police investigation, Atul Kumar, a school owner, died after being bitten by a venomous snake. Initially, the incident appeared to be a case of accidental snakebite. His wife, Damini, reportedly rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The body was then sent for a postmortem examination.

During the postmortem, doctors reportedly noticed suspicious circumstances that did not appear consistent with a routine snakebite case. They alerted senior police officials, prompting a detailed investigation.

Police subsequently formed a special team to examine the case. As part of the investigation, officers analyzed Damini's call records, which allegedly revealed frequent and prolonged conversations with a man identified as the school's bus driver. Investigators suspect the two had been in a relationship for an extended period.

According to police, sustained questioning led to the uncovering of an alleged conspiracy in which Damini and her alleged lover planned Atul Kumar's murder because they believed he was an obstacle to their relationship. Both suspects have been taken into custody, and further legal proceedings are underway.

Police continue to investigate the case, including the circumstances surrounding the alleged use of a venomous snake. Authorities have stated that additional evidence is being collected, and the final conclusions will depend on the outcome of the investigation and court proceedings.
