Woman Alleges Husband Hid Identity, Forced Religious Conversion, and Abandoned Her After Six Years

A woman from Uttar Pradesh has come forward with serious allegations against her husband, claiming he concealed his religious identity before marriage, later pressured her to convert to Islam, and eventually abandoned her after six years of marriage and three children.

According to the woman's account, Shivani Verma married a man identified as Shubhan Ahmad through a court marriage in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. She alleges that she believed he belonged to a different faith until she became pregnant and his parents visited their home. It was then, she claims, that she discovered his actual religious identity.

Shivani further alleges that she was subsequently pressured to convert to Islam and was given the name Shubhana Ansari after the conversion. She says she continued living with her husband and the couple had three children during their six-year marriage.

However, the woman claims that the relationship later deteriorated. She alleges that her husband pronounced triple talaq over the phone, abandoned her and the children, and left for Mumbai. Since then, she says she has been struggling to secure financial support and legal justice.

The woman is now appealing to the authorities for action, stating that she and her children have been left without support. At the time of writing, the allegations have not been independently verified, and the response of the accused or law enforcement authorities has not been publicly confirmed.

The case has drawn attention on social media, where many users are calling for a thorough investigation and appropriate legal action based on the findings of the authorities.
