Faridabad Woman Arrested for Alleged Murder of Man Following Relationship Dispute

A relationship dispute in Haryana's Faridabad has taken a tragic turn after a 33-year-old woman, identified as Anita, was arrested for allegedly murdering Sadaqat Ali (36). Police say the incident stemmed from an ongoing disagreement over marriage and divorce.

According to investigators, Anita and Sadaqat Ali had been in a relationship for some time. Police allege that Anita wanted to marry him, but he repeatedly postponed divorcing his wife, leading to growing tensions between the two.

As per the police investigation, Anita allegedly invited Sadaqat Ali to her rented accommodation on July 25, where the two consumed alcohol together. Authorities claim that during the meeting, an argument broke out over their relationship. Police allege that Anita then attacked Sadaqat Ali with a sharp weapon, fatally slitting his throat.

Investigators say that after the alleged murder, Anita locked the rented room from the outside and fled the area in an attempt to avoid suspicion. The victim's body remained inside the locked room until July 30, when it was discovered, prompting police to launch a murder investigation.

Following technical surveillance and evidence collection, police traced and arrested Anita. She is now in custody, and officers are continuing to investigate the case, including recovering additional evidence and determining the exact sequence of events.

The case has once again highlighted how personal disputes can escalate into violent crimes. The allegations against Anita will be examined during judicial proceedings, and she remains entitled to due process until the matter is decided by the court.
